2022 Black Sears Estate Zinfandel Magnum

Head-trained, dry-farmed, planted in 1975 on ol’ St George rootstock atop an old apple orchard, with the bud wood coming from the historic Hayne Vineyard. Layered, nuanced, peppery and brambly, our Estate Zinfandel is somehow both the quintessence of the varietal and unlike any Zin you've ever tasted. We literally built the winery on the backs of visitors who came for the Cabs and "didn't know a Zin could taste like this!" Pair with leg of lamb, pepperoni pizza, or anything you can think of to blacken, grill, or smoke.
