The Commuter Bag- with Leather Strap

The Commuter Bag was designed to be the perfect every day carry. It is a mid sized purse large enough to carry all of your daily essentials or can be used as a generous sized project bag for knitting and crafting projects. It would also make a great planner and stationery project bag. This bag is designed to be worn in multiple ways. Leather handles are turned and stitched for a comfortable grip with a handle drop of 4" (meant to be held in your hand or over your wrist). There is also a removable leather strap 44" long which can be worn over the shoulder or cross body style. The swivel clip hardware is gold and made in Italy. This bag is made with leather (cow's hide) and is fully unlined. It will age and patina beautifully over time. It features an inner pocket perfect for your phone (pocket measures 6.5" H x 6.25" W) and includes a small D-ring beside the pocket to hook keys or other items on to. It features 2 generous outer side pockets 6" wide x 6" high. The bag measures roughly 9 1/2"wide x 8 3/4"high x 6" deep Each bag is handmade in Canada and branded with the by the lakeside logo (scissors). To best care for your by the lakeside leather item, avoid exposing it to water and moisture. Never submerge leather items in water. If you need to clean your leather item, use a damp cloth and gently blot the spot and let dry. Do not scrub. If additional cleaning is needed, it should be brought to a trusted leather cleaner or cobbler. Please note that leather has natural variations in colour and grain which only add to the beauty.
