Coffee Cup – Yun Yellow – Seconds

A stoneware coffee cup from the Yun series, fully glazed in glossy yellow, made in Germany.This is a studio second: fully functional with minor cosmetic irregularities — slight warping, glaze unevenness, fine cracks on the base, or small clay specks in the glaze. None affect use. Offered at a reduced price.The form is rounded with softly curved walls and a stable base, Ø 9 cm and H 6.5 cm, holding 240 ml — a larger volume well suited to flat white, cappuccino, or filter coffee, with enough room for latte art. The Yun shape sits naturally in the hand and reads softer than the cylindrical Nomi line.Each cup is thrown on the wheel from grey stoneware clay and fired at 1220 °C. At this temperature the body vitrifies and becomes food-safe without further sealing. A glossy yellow glaze is applied to the whole cup — interior and exterior — and develops a clean, even surface in firing.
