These NEW Men's SummerCool Gardening Trousers, in two colours with a UPF 50+ rating, have been designed to keep you as cool as possible. The enhanced ventilation is also designed to keep you cool and keep out bugs. There is a long zipped mesh-lined vent on the outside of each thigh, plus mesh-lined vents at the back of the knee. And if all that ventilation is still not enough, you can roll up the bottoms and secure with the strap to maximise air circulation around the ankles. (And if that is still not enough, you could try the shorts.) The trousers are made from a high-performance, quick-drying stretch fabric that moves moisture quickly away from our skin. The fabric is a little stiffer than usual to keep it away from the skin, further aiding ventilation. The famous Genus gardening features are all there: breathable, adjustable kneepads; a part-elasticated waistband for an improved fit and total freedom of movement; stud fastening at the hem; and a total of 10 (yes, 10!) pockets carefully designed so that you can carry all you need, but still move freely. Your phone slips into an easily accessible zip pocket just below the waistband at the back so that it’s protected whether you’re bending, stretching or sitting. Deep hand pockets at the hip, zip pockets on the thigh and large patch pockets at the back are great for all the bits and bobs that gardeners need to carry around. An extra zipped pocket has been added at the rear to keep small items secure. And of course, the stab-resistant pockets for secateurs and sharp tools.
