In this hands-on family workshop, you’ll channel your inner “Bake Off” star as you work together to make two beloved desserts from across the pond: buttery, tender scones and a showstopping pavlova to take home. Families will learn how to create the perfect rise and crumb in traditional scones, then serve them the authentic way with clotted cream and jam. Next, you’ll craft a light and airy meringue base, whip cream, and decorate your pavlova with fresh seasonal fruit for a stunning finish. Our instructor will guide everyone step by step, making the class fun, approachable, and easy for families to enjoy together. Parents, kids, and family groups will get to work side by side as they mix, bake, decorate, and create their own British-inspired treats. Leave with your beautifully baked scones and pavlova ready to impress friends and family, and maybe even earn your own “Star Baker” title! All supplies and materials are included. Our classes are hands-on, interactive experiences. So, please dress accordingly. We recommend wearing casual clothing that you won’t mind getting a little sugar on, and flat comfortable shoes. Open toed shoes and sandals are not recommended as this is a safety concern when working within a kitchen. Long hair should be tied back.
