It has a curved bottom that ensures even heat distribution and stability on preferably a gas stovetop. It also has steep walls that prevent food from spilling over and allow you to toss and turn your ingredients with a flick of your wrist! Handcrafted in Kerala, pre-seasoned cast iron kadai perfect for stir frying or deep frying. Care instructions: We recommend washing your cast iron pan by hand with a dime-size amount of soap. It is important to promptly dry with a soft cloth or paper towel. Rub a very light layer of oil onto the surface of the pan, and wipe with a paper towel until no residue remains. This is not dishwasher safe. To prevent rust, we recommend drying promptly after each use, and coating the pan with a light layer of cooking oil.
