Limited to only 300 timepieces, the SUB 300 Ti5 Clive Cussler reinterprets DOXA’s legendary 1967 SUB 300 in Grade 5 titanium, pairing the brand’s original dive watch architecture with a newly developed dual-plane dial construction. Measuring 42.50 mm × 45.00 mm with a thickness of 13.40 mm, the case, dial, screw-down crown, and NUMA-engraved case back, all crafted from Grade 5 titanium for exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and lightweight comfort. Its innovative two-level dial consists of superimposed titanium layers, with laser-cut openings revealing Super-LumiNova® hour markers and indexes beneath. This architecture creates a subtle sense of depth while preserving the immediate legibility that has defined the SUB collection for decades. A sandblasted finish enhances light and shadow across the dial, while signature DOXA orange accents highlight the oversized minute hand and no-decompression scale. The date display at 3 o’clock features the numerals 15, 7, and 31 in orange, referencing Clive Cussler’s birth date. Water-resistant to 300 meters and protected by an anti-reflective “glass box” sapphire crystal, the watch is powered by a COSC-certified Swiss automatic movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) with approximately 38 hours of power reserve. A black Dive Flex rubber strap equipped with titanium pin buckle completes this tribute to exploration, performance, and enduring adventure.
