Citroën by the Sea

Sometimes the best holiday memories are the random roadside detours. On a road trip through France, I stumbled across this beautiful abandoned shop right next to a vineyard. It’s an old direct-sales spot for Cognac and Pineau and I loved how the old advertising was still clinging to the walls and wireframe bottle hanging on for dear life up top! I had my trusty Pentax ME Super loaded up with some expired film, which gave the whole scene this gorgeous, sun-baked, nostalgic feel. It really felt like stepping back in time for a minute before getting back on the road. Taken on a country road near the coast in Charente Maritime, south west France. Shot on my Pentax ME Super and expired Kodak 35mm colour film/ Each Print Edition size is 25. Each print is printed on German Etching 100% Cotton 310 GSM paper, which is acid-free and archival standard. The print is available in several sizes and framing options. The print is sold unframed; however, framing options are also available so your print arrives ready to hang, but please keep in mind that at least an extra 14 working days will be added to the order so the print can be framed professionally. I usually frame the pieces in a dark wood frame with Art Glass as standard to ensure the longevity of the print.
