Cubist Cuckoo Clock
Curator: Almost everything about this cuckoo clock is unconventional. The bird has a room of its own, it can look in whichever direction you choose, and the clock feels perfectly at home on a desk instead of a wall. The Lemnos Cubist Cuckoo Clock is a modern wooden cuckoo clock inspired by postmodern architecture. Designed by Singaporean designer Gabriel Tan, it consists of two stacked cubes crafted from solid Japanese ash wood. The larger cube houses the clock, while the smaller cube contains the cuckoo and can be rotated to face different directions, giving the clock a different appearance depending on its orientation. Compact enough for a desk, bookshelf or side table, the Cubist Cuckoo Clock brings a contemporary interpretation to the traditional cuckoo clock. It features two volume settings and a light sensor that automatically silences the cuckoo in the dark. Material: Ash Wood Size: 186 x 276 x 106mm Weight: 1390g
