La Demoiselle de Sociando Mallet Haut-Médoc 2020

Chateau Sociande-Mallet is located in the municipality of Saint Seurin de Cadourne, about 10 kilometers north of Pauillac in the Haut-Medoc appellation. The wine consists of about 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. The grape vines grow on a gravel soil of clay limestone. The grapes are handpicked and sorted. 25% of the wine matures in new oak barrels for 11 months. The wine matures 18 months in total. 2nd wine from Chateau Sociande Mallet, La Demoiselle is produced from younger vines of the estate. The charm of this wine lies in its fruity and beautiful round character. Tasting notes Deep red color with violet reflections. Beautiful ripe and fresh black fruits and aromas of blackberries, blueberries and sweet spices. The texture is powerful and the finish is beautiful with a hint of vanilla. Food pairing Delicious in combination with game dishes, lamb and spicy cheeses.
