The Next stitch – Kimono with Kirstie – Commencing Saturday 15th August 2026

Dates: Saturdays 15th, 22nd & 29th August and 5th September 2026 Time: 1.30pm – 4.30pm (1.15pm setup) Begin to develop your own pattern library. Everything that feels mysterious about the paper inside a pattern envelope. You’ll learn how to understand read a pattern and all the symbols shown on the pattern (sizing, fabric requirements, notions laying fabric), understand pattern markings and symbols, and cut and prepare pattern pieces correctly. We’ll also cover grain lines and why they matter to the finished Garment This fun and friendly course runs over four weeks, with each session lasting three hours.
