Chrysocolla Democratic Republic of the Congo Dimensions: 7.4 x 6.1 x 4.5 cm The matrix of this specimen is built from overlapping rounded masses ranging from tiny grape-like botryoids to much larger cauliflower-shaped aggregates, giving this specimen lots of texture and interest. I particularly enjoy the color of this specimen: turquoise to cyan-blue—while the raised formations carry a subdued sage, gray-green, and darker forest-green surface.
