This seat was engineered to hold drivers steady in two of BMW's fastest cars: electrically adjustable side bolsters, electric lumbar, electric headrest height adjustment, manual extendable thigh support and an illuminated M logo in the backrest. The chair retains all the seat's adjustments including electric recline and tilt, powered by an on-board battery, so no trailing cables. It adds a robust office-grade mechanism: gas cylinder height adjustment, smooth 360-degree rotation and height-adjustable armrests with sliding, lockable pads.
