Deco navy vintage 1940s tailored worsted jacket with velvet scroll motifs

A fabulous vintage 1940s navy blue worsted wool jacket with a wonderfully smart, tailored silhouette. Cut in a lovely deep navy blue worsted fabric, this classic wartime-era collarless jacket features velvet scrolled motifs edged with tiny beads to each shoulder and art deco angled yoke detailing. There are three corded buttons to fasten down the centre front, with an elegant nipped waist, and curved pockets to each hip. Fully lined inside, and labelled 'A Jaygood regd model' with '100% British Worsted - made in England'.
