A dry garden bed loses water faster than you can top it up. Easy Wetta mulch fixes that from the top down. Spread it across garden beds, borders or under trees and it holds water and nutrients where roots can actually use them, instead of letting a hot Strathalbyn afternoon bake it all away. It buffers plants from the extremes too, keeping roots cooler in summer and warmer through a cold snap. Fork it into the top of the soil and leave it there. Turning the bed over after mulching breaks the bonds that hold moisture, so resist the urge to dig it in properly.
