Springbank 12yo C.S. 25/175 Batch 28 55.5%ABV 30ml

Springbank 12y/o usually has 2 batches a year and varies in taste making each release a new taste experience. Often it is made using a combination of Sherry and Bourbon Casks and occasionally Rum and other casks are added too. Early Springbank 12y/o batches were heavy sherry often hiding the distillate character and the famous 'Campbeltown Funk'. Recent batches have been more distillate driven with a higher percentage of refill sherry casks and bourbon barrels. In 2021 batch 23 was the first 100% Bourbon cask batch and became a cult classic. Batch 28 of Springbank 12y/o Cask Strength is the second batch to be 100% Bourbon.
