There’s a subtle waxiness alongside a whiff of mead, and then finally a brooding porridge-like note. Palate: Arriving with a pinch of white pepper, then lemon pith, subtle oak char and some light notes of honeycomb. Also a touch of ginger there near the end, accompanied by some cooked fruits and cereals. Finish: Medium length. A touch of copper, some malt extract and something slightly yeasty, while subtle fruits linger.
