Loom rental in Studio

Join us at the studio and weave on our floor looms — or rent a tapestry/table loom to weave from home Full information Page Independent Loom Rental For experienced weavers who are comfortable working independently. Student Loom Rental Reduced rates are available for current college and university students with valid student ID to support textile education and emerging artists. Guided Loom Support — $75/day Includes up to 30 minutes of dedicated instructor assistance for troubleshooting, questions, and guidance. Additional assistance is billed at the Private Loom Assistance rate. Private Loom Assistance — $40/hour For students who require ongoing guidance, including loom setup, warping, project planning, troubleshooting, or step-by-step instruction. Loom rental fees include access to studio equipment and workspace. Materials are not included. Rental does not include instruction or dedicated assistance unless support is added. Please book instructional support in advance. Students renting looms are not permitted to be in the studio unsupervised. You’ll sign a liability waiver; renters are liable for any equipment damage. Loom Rental Access Hours Available by advance booking during the following studio access windows: Monday, Thursday & Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday & Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM Please book your studio time in advance so we can confirm availability and ensure the space and equipment are ready for your visit. Availability may vary depending on workshops, studio closures, and scheduled activities. Loom Rental Policies Rental Duration: Any day that your project occupies a loom counts as a rental day, whether or not you are working on the loom for the full day. Scheduling: Loom rental time must be booked in advance. Rental availability is limited to approximately 5–10 rental days per month depending on studio schedule and loom availability. Studio Closures: Rental days are only available during scheduled studio access hours and do not apply on studio closure days. Materials: Materials are not included. Renters are responsible for providing their own yarn and project materials. Experience Required: Loom rental is intended for experienced weavers who are comfortable working independently. Renters must have prior experience dressing a loom and completing their own weaving projects. Rental fees include access to the loom, studio workspace, and available equipment. Instruction, project planning, and dedicated troubleshooting are not included unless additional support is booked.
