Doxa Cricket Alarm AS1475 - 1957
This 1957 Doxa Cricket Alarm, equipped with the AS 1475 caliber, is a mechanical alarm watch produced at a time when Doxa was exploring all directions before focusing on diving and its legendary Sub 300. A confidential piece that testifies to the diversity and ingenuity of Doxa's production in the 1950s. The double crown is the immediate signature of this type of complication: one sets the time, the other allows you to program and wind the alarm mechanism independently. The movement has its own power reserve dedicated to the alarm, an entirely mechanical system of remarkable technical elegance. This same AS 1475 caliber, produced by the Adolphe Schild ebauche manufacturer, also equipped the 1957 Tudor Advisor, an alarm watch from Rolex's subsidiary. This watch is sold alone, without box or papers.
