Domaine Goepp, Uni'K Savagnin Rose 2023

The Klevener de Heiligenstein is the only French AOC that is composed just of the varietal Savagnin Rose, a very rare variety, which is a cousin of Gewurztraminer. The Goepp brothers' unique expression is a maceration for seven days, followed by ageing on total lees for 7 months. Rounded and long it has plenty of exotic spice and a lovely texture, I find it tasted best after a couple of hours open or carafed. Uni'K and delicious. 13.5%
