NZR Chopper couplers BP6040

This is the coupler pattern for new couplers from around 1900-1936, though it could be found on stock much later than that. Half the heads have a cast in draw pin and cast pins are provided to be fitted to the hook. Generally the cast pins are a press fit which makes life easy. Can be used with out steel hooks (for magnetic uncoupling). Also available to suit Kadee draughtboxes. Later, post-1936, couplers also available.
