Keeled Tassel Fern (Phlegmariurus carinatus)

Keeled tassel ferns are not ferns at all! They are an ancient lineage of plants called clubmosses. Clubmosses have remained virtually unchanged for millions of years. They produce spores like ferns and other mosses, rather than blooming or producing seeds in cones. They live in the tropics of southern Asia and northern Australia where they can be found growing on trees, hanging down from above. Tassel ferns are pet safe, so no worries here! They can also make a very interesting addition to tropical reptile and amphibian enclosures. Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 5 inch hanging basket.
