Baltic 1854-55, named to H.M.S. Exmouth

Baltic 1854-55, named to H.M.S. Exmouth Baltic 1854-55, G. Rake H.M.S. Exmouth (Contemporary engraved , see photos) We have only found one man called G. Rake on the Baltic rolls, this man being recorded on H.M.S. St George, and noted as his medal sent to Calcutta, interestingly there is a G. Rake serving on H.M.S. Calcutta during the Second China War. Given how often men changed ship at this time it is quite possible that the G Rake on Exmouth is the same man as on St George and then Calcutta. Needs more research time spending on it. Condition – GVF, naming in deep upright capitals.
