Kaname Moriwaki small spot plates
Made by Kaname Moriwaki in the Shiga Prefecture of Japan, these small ceramic plates are lightweight and the perfect vehicle for a sweet treat. Kaname's countryside studio named Utsuwa Kobako, reflects his desire to create everyday homewares (utsuwa), with his fondness for boxes : kobako being a term for an incense storage box. Thanks to his own sweet tooth, he likes making small vessels designed to hold confectionery, fruit, or traditional Japanese treats served alongside tea. The plates are available in two colourways.
