The Fox Ruler is a classic dental instrument used primarily in Prosthodontics. It helps dentists determine and evaluate the correct occlusal plane (biting surface orientation) when creating complete or partial dentures. Key Functions Aligns Wax Rims: Guides the shaping of the upper wax bite rims to match the patient's anatomy. Parallel Alignment: Ensures the upper dental arch is perfectly parallel to key facial landmarks: Anteriorly: Aligns horizontally with the Interpupillary Line (an imaginary line between the pupils of the eyes).
