Jad Atoui 'Change Image It Will Take Forever'

On It Will Take Forever, Beirut-based sound artist Jad Atoui constructs six immersive modular synthesis pieces shaped by instability, suspended time, and physical endurance. Developed through live performance between 2023 and 2025, the album stretches the force and physicality of club sound into abstract electronic environments built from distortion, feedback, saturation, and drifting tonal fragments. Drawing from ambient noise, power electronics, electro-acoustic composition, and free improvisation, the record explores release and collapse not as musical gestures but as bodily states. Loud, dense, and emotionally disorienting, these pieces move through pressure and fragmentation while maintaining a tactile sense of presence.
