The reservoir cap needs to be flat for a secure fit; some models with a rounded cap will not seat correctly, and this kit is not compatible with the 2016 BMW R1200RT. No. The plate sits above your existing cover and reuses the cover's own screw holes with the longer screws supplied, so the original cover stays where it is. Will it fit my bike? Measure the two mounting holes on your reservoir cover. The centre slots are 61.9mm (2 7/16") apart and just under 12.7mm (0.5") long, so there is a little adjustment either way. The cap also needs to be flat rather than rounded. Not compatible with the 2016 BMW R1200RT. What can I mount on it? Anything with the 2-hole AMPS pattern bolts straight to the diamond base, which covers most RAM® phone, GPS and action camera holders. Keep the total load under 907g (2 lbs). How fast does this ship?
