A faulty or weak water pump is a common source of power loss on supercharged motors. The upgraded Bosch 010 intercooler pump exceed OEM Jaguar volume. Bosch water pumps are tested to ensure proper functionality. Torque testing is performed to verify the proper impeller-shaft mating—and can also detect loose impeller-shaft press fits. The water pumps are vacuum leak tested to ensure proper sealing; this test can detect leaks throughout the housing, seals, tube binding and plug leakage.
