We’ll walk through the entire process, including: How a pickup works Choosing the proper materials and components Preparing and assembling the bobbins Working with extremely fine magnet wire Setting up and operating the winding machine Understanding wind direction, polarity, and output Installing lead wires and protecting the coil Testing and troubleshooting the finished pickups Wax potting and final assembly This is a working workshop, not simply a demonstration.
