NEW: Modelling a 1/3 Scale Figure from Life (Evening)

Tutor: Laura Postle | Tuesdays 6pm-8.30pm | 12 weeks Learn how to accurately observe, measure, and model the human figure in clay from life. You will develop skills in proportion, structure, and anatomical understanding to build a convincing sculptural form. The course begins with constructing a metal armature to support the figure. Using a traditional approach inspired by the Florence Academy, you will then model the figure in clay, combining careful measurement with anatomical knowledge to achieve accuracy and presence. On the last weeks you will cast your sculptures using the waste moulding technique. (#TU48)
