Alligare Glyphosate - 1 Gallon Full Strength, Controls most Emergent Weeds Growing in and Near Water
Alligare Glyphosate (AG) is a nonselective herbicide used around ponds, lakes and streams for control of cattails, brush and a wide range of weeds, woody brush and trees that grow near or grow out of the water. AG is not effective on plants that grow under (or mostly under) the water. AG is sprayed onto the foliage of the plants and kills the plant and its roots. AG must be used with an adjuvant, such as, Cygnet Plus - sold separately. Application rate is typically 2-3 ounces per gallon of water in sprayer, plus 2 ounces of Cygnet Plus Surfactant. Some plants, like cattails, may require a second application. Effectiveness may be reduced if rain occurs within six hours of application. Results will begin to show in two to four days in most plants but can take as long as two weeks. Water area where plants have been treated with AG have no restrictions for swimming, irrigation, or animal consumption. It is generally considered safe for fish when used according to the instructions.
