There are few things as intimately connected with Scotland as Highland Heather. Each September, Laura from 'In the Heather' in Glasgow spends a day in Glen Isla, located amongst stunning unspoilt heathland, harvesting the heather by hand, taking just enough to last us a year, as this beautiful species only blooms once a year.
