Wanna Hug

"Wanna Hug"... Sheila created this piece during those surreal Covid days when human touch became forbidden and these tiny hands found in one of her drawers became a reminder of what we'd lost and longed for.. She adorned them with tiny rings, a pearl in one, and a sparkling stone for the other hand. This necklace became her response to an otherworldly time when something as simple as a hug became precious and rare. A memory of days when we longed to dress up with nowhere to go, when we reached out but couldn't touch.
