A classic design of the second war period dress cap, in olive green drab, with all original and untouched components, featuring thick leather chinstrap held in place by two brass general service buttons, at centre is an officer's cap badge with fire gilt and silvering, held in place by dual lugs and never having been removed. Interior with band in place as well as silk bow are rear, maker label for Alkit Ltd, London under sweat protection which does exhibit wear and tearing, otherwise the cap is overall fine despite some residue from storage.
