White Oak Mantel

This one is solid white oak on every face, not a veneer wrapped over a core, joined with tight lock-miter seams into one clean piece. It is built thick — 5 or 7 inches — and made to your exact length, anywhere from 12 to 90 inches, at a depth from 6 to 18. Set it above the fireplace as a true mantel, or run it across a living room or feature wall as a substantial floating shelf. Finish it to match the room: a Natural Clear Coat to keep the oak bright and honest, a soft Pickled White, warm-to-earthy Nature Stain or Antique, cooler Umber Gray or Classic Gray, or Raw if you plan to finish it yourself — and if you have an exact shade in mind, we can match a custom Minwax stain to your color code. The Studlock Mantel Bracket is included and matched to your mantel: a hidden steel bracket, not a wood cleat, that mounts to the studs and disappears inside the mantel so it appears to float with nothing holding it up.
