Description This 15oz “Green Cast Denim” features indigo warp yarns that are repeatedly rope-dyed before receiving a final layer of yellow-toned sulfur dye. This unique dyeing process gives the fabric a deep, rich appearance with a subtle green cast that sets it apart from most selvedge denim. As it fades, shades of jade and blue-green will gradually emerge. The warp is dyed indigo, while the weft is left unbleached. The use of unbleached weft retains the natural yellowish-brown tone of raw cotton. This gives the fabric an old-school appearance, much like early denim fabrics that were commonly woven without bleached cotton yarns. From a distance, the fabric looks clean and structured like classic denim. Up close, however, the irregular slub texture becomes much more noticeable, particularly along the vertical direction. This pronounced slubbiness should translate into plenty of visible character as the denim breaks in and fades over time.
