Pale blue-grey chalcedony veins cut diagonally across the faces in sweeping bands — a hallmark of high-quality ocean jasper — providing cool contrast against the warm iron-red ground. A pocket of olive-green mineral sits mid-body on the reverse face, adding an unexpected third colour to the composition.
