The unevenness that arises from hand-spinning and hand-weaving the relatively short-fibred desi cotton gives it a texture like a second skin, beautiful even when held up to the light. The borders that appear randomly from time to time are created by fine, handmade variations in the yarn lots, and are another of its characteristics.
