Antinori 'Santa Cristina' Sangiovese Merlot IGT 2023

Whilst not exactly a 'small' winery Antinori is a family owned operation of incredible heritage stretching back some 630 years and is now under the 26th generation of ownership. Simply amazing! The wines span a wide range of price points but you can be guaranteed no matter your budget you will be drinking very crafted wines that are immediately faithful to the style, location and appellation. Probably my favourite Italian winery outside of Piedmont. Â
