Our new offset/offset same-side Race Series muffler configuration was developed specifically for Ford Mustang Cobra applications equipped with IRS, or independent rear suspension. Unlike traditional offset/offset mufflers where the inlet and outlet are positioned on opposite sides of the muffler case, this same-side configuration places both the inlet and outlet on the same side of the muffler body. This makes it ideal for IRS-style exhaust routing found on Cobra applications. Available in both 2.5" and 3" inlet/outlet sizes, this configuration gives Mustang Cobra owners a clean, purpose-built muffler option for IRS-equipped exhaust systems without the need for unnecessary custom fabrication or awkward pipe routing.
