Potato and carrot may also be added. Prepare fried shallots as garnish. Stir-fry 1 sachet of Racik Kare seasoning until fragrant. Add the beef and stir evenly until the meat changes color and releases its juices. Add 2–3 cups of water (approximately 500–750 ml) and stir well. Cook until the beef is tender and the sauce thickens, approximately 30–60 minutes, or as desired. Add potato and carrot, if using, and continue cooking until tender.
