Unlike the standard inked version, these dice have blank/uninked numbers, leaving the recessed numbering the natural color of the die. The result is an unusual, understated appearance that really showcases the original Speckled® pattern. The Speckled Recon colorway is an out-of-print Chessex design, making these especially appealing to collectors of discontinued Chessex dice, older Speckled® colors, and unusual factory variations. These are genuine older Chessex stock identified on the original bulk packaging as PS2089-A – Speckled® Recon d20.
