Capella Huggie
One light from across the room. Three up close. Capella is the sixth-brightest star in the sky and, as it turns out, not one star at all — it's four, so close together they arrive as a single point of light. The Capella Huggie pulls the same trick: three bezel-set lab-grown diamonds, biggest at the top and smallest at the tip, linked into a slim chain that hangs from a solid 10k yellow gold huggie. From across the room it's one line of light. Up close, it's three. Each stone sits in its own thin bezel — a fine rim of gold that catches light at the edges and leaves the rest to the diamond (D–F color, VS clarity, so the rest is considerable). The links between them are tiny, which is the whole point: the chain swings when you turn your head instead of stiffly following it, and the graduation pulls the eye down the line the way a good drop should. The hoop is 9mm inside and a slim 1mm, hinged, with a snap post that clicks shut; the drop runs 15mm below it. 0.27 ct a single, 0.55ctw if you buy two. Sold individually — wear a pair for symmetry, or one beside a stud and let the chain do the talking. Either way, from across the room, it's all one light.
