Layers of turquoise, deep ocean blue and soft sea-grey flow through this 30cm resin seascape, with sweeping white waves and scattered sea spray capturing the restless movement of the Shetland sea. I love the contrast in this piece — from the darker, deeper water at its centre to the bright turquoise shallows and foaming waves below. The fine details created naturally within the resin give the impression of waves breaking, curling and dissolving into one another.
