Arrow Composition

An antique turquoise kimono from the Taishō period (1912–1926), adorned with an arrow motif expressed both as a surface pattern and as a woven jacquard. The interior is finished with a clean white lining, softly contrasted by pale beige tones at the cuffs and hem. The arrow motif, traditionally associated with warding off misfortune and guiding one’s path forward, adds symbolic depth to the design.
