Tarantulas are big spiders that live in warm and humid climates. These spiders molt as they grow, which means that, much like a snake sheds its skin, tarantulas shed their exosqueletons. Tarantulas have two main body parts: the abdomen and the cephalothorax, a combination of the thorax and head. This is where, notably, their faces are! These are remnants of the molting process from spiders kept as pets! This part of the exosqueleton is thinner and thus a lot more fragile then fangs or legs. We are able to find a lot less intact cephalothorax molts then other parts of the spiders once the molt is done! Sold individually, chosen randomly, photos for reference only, please note that most will not be identified as we source from breeders who keep several different species
