Our custom outdoor covers are strongly recommended as an extra layer of protection against the elements and natural aging. If the furniture will remain covered and not used frequently, we recommend periodically taking off the covers to allow moisture and humidity to dissipate from inside allowing the furniture to breathe. This helps reduce trapped humidity if the furniture is not regularly used. Care + Maintenance Powder Coated Aluminum Furniture should be thoroughly cleaned often using a soft towel and mild soap. In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits. A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first. Aluminum Touch-Up kits are available for minor surface scratches. Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners. Upholstery and Inserts To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric. For everyday stains: Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly. Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains. Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture. For mold and mildew: Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly. Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion. After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.
