Russian Carved Shungite Tetrahedron, 120mm, ULTRA Rare, Last of Its Kind With Custom Mahogany Wood Stand This breathtaking sculpture is a perfect tetrahedron - 120mm on each side, which is over 4.5 inches. It was carved in Russia out of genuine Karelian shungite with nicely rounded edges - not too sharp or pointy, friendly to handle. All four sides are polished so you can use any side as the base. All of the flecks, lines and fissures are completely normal and natural to the shungite stone. You can see the mineral inclusions - which are likely pyrite and quartz. This is a spectacular specimen! One of the last 2 in existence (and the other stays with me). The tetrahedron comes with a custom triangular mahogany wood stand, measuring about 6 inches on each side and about almost one inch thick. The stand was handcrafted by Olympia wood artist Mike Stark from locally reclaimed wood. ** FREE shipping to USA The Power & Symbolism of the Tetrahedron The tetrahedron is one of the 5 Platonic solids. Named after the Greek philosopher Plato, Platonic solids are composed of equilateral, equiangular polygons. The tetrahedron is one of these 5 shapes considered to be geometrical ideals! It displays perfect symmetry, balance, and stability, and represents the element of fire. It resonates with the solar plexus chakra, giving rise to our personal power, passion, and self-esteem. The tetrahedron also contains the perfect balance of masculine and feminine energy, yin and yang, action and intuition. Because of its association with fire, it also promotes change and transformation and serves as the gateway to higher consciousness and manifestation. All of these features make the shungite tetrahedron a fantastic tool for meditation work!
