Raúl Pérez is one of Spain’s greatest winemakers, and this is from his vineyards in the north of Spain in Bierzo – one of the country’s most exciting regions. It’s made primarily from the local Mencía grape, with several other red and white heritage grapes dotted around the vineyard. Assertive, vibrant, textural style with plenty of bite.
