2 day Mug Workshop- Monday May 25th 7-9pm + June 1st 6:30-9pm

Do you love handmade mugs? This workshop is for you! Try your hand at wheel throwing and make a mug. Wheel throwing experience is encouraged but not a requirement. The first 2hr workshop will be wheel throwing our mug forms. The intimate class will allow for support at every step by the instructor. The second 2.5hr workshop we will trim the bottoms of our mug forms and attach handles. The second half of class will be decorating- underglaze painting, carving, adding embellishments. The finished mugs will be clear glazed and fired and ready for pick up a couple weeks after the final workshop. What is included: 2 hrs of wheel throwing 2.5 hrs of trimming, handles, underglaze decorating 1 finished food safe mug that will be ready for pick up a couple weeks after workshop complimentary tea, sparkling water Please note- Wheel throwing requires 15 min of cleanup each class Further information email You will receive an email from info@talkinghandsstudio.com with further details 2 days before the workshop, please check junk mail if it doesn't arrive in your inbox Cancellation Policy If a cancellation is made at least 7 days from the class start date, store credit will be issued for the full value of the class. If a cancellation is made within the 7 days before the class start date, store credit will be issued for 50% of the value of the class. Credit can be spent on either classes or pots and will not expire. Refunds are not available. Accessibility Please note that the studio is located on the lower lever of an old building and is unfortunately only accessible by stair. This class is for participants age 16 or older.
